Outreach mission is to comfort and provide quality emergency supplies to children in crisis, enabling them to re-establish some sense of normalcy in their disrupted lives. To prevent the cycle of abuse by showing children from abuse how to focus on their talents and strengths allowing them to produce a balanced life with opportunity to succeed in their future.

‘2017’ Was a Surprise – Start to Finish!

Everything about 2017 was a surprise, from January through December. In January we received notification from Navajo Generating Station, our largest Corporation Sponsor, of their emanate closure in 2019.  There had been rumors for some time that it was a possibility, now it was a fact.  The NGS Employee Booster Association provides a third of our funding and has done so for 14 of our 17 years.

February brought our annual collaboration with United Way of Northern Arizona with the Vita Tax Preparation program offered every Saturday February through April 17th.  We doubled the number of clients we served from the year before.

We have a dedicated group of women in Prescott who have supplied over 280 quilts every year for 12 years for the children we serve.  Ellen, the woman in charge of the Prescott C.U.D.D.L.E. group, and I had spoken often of expanding the Prescott area.  In February her son offered C.U.D.D.L.E. his rental home for a reasonable monthly sum.

In March we were contacted by a wonderful beneficiary from Flagstaff who offered us a 42 foot yacht named the Lady Mar.  He not only gave us the yacht but he arranged for the broker to show her and handle the sell. One month later we received a check for $15000.

In April we moved half of our supplies and equipment to Prescott.  The expansion of the Prescott area was underway. Though we had been giving and producing the C.U.D.D.L.E. Wellness Kits for 17 years very few people from this community know about C.U.D.D.L.E. and how we help abused children in their area.  From March to August I went back and forth from Page to Prescott every other week.

April 29thbrought the 16thAnnual .C.U.D.D.L.E. Scramble Golf Tournament. We had a great turn out. Aramark sponsored the tournament for the second year with Finances, Prizes, and Volunteers. Robin took charge with her helpers at 7:30 am manning the front check-in table, they took pictures during the tournament and handled the raffle after lunch. Thank You to each of them and Aramark who has been a contributing sponsor of our tournament from the first year.

August 23rdI had triple-by-pass surgery, and for the next 5 months my traveling and activity stopped. However, C.U.D.D.L.E. Wellness Kit operation did not! Thanks to the dedication and love of the C.U.D.D.L.E. Volunteers 1000 C.U.D.D.L.E. Wellness Kits were made with very busy loving hands and hearts and given to 1000 children in emotional crisis enabling them to re-establish some sense of normalcy in their disrupted lives.  Because of your financial support, in-kind giving, praying hearts and the ever ready work of our volunteers hurting children receive a gift of love they cherish the rest of their lives. Thank you for 17 years of caring and supporting this ministry, we all DO make a huge difference. You are the heroes to countless children.

Vision Statement:Children are given to us as a trust and gift from God. We are to protect, teach, nurture and love them. It is our desire to show each child God’s love, to assist all children in need until abuse and neglect of children no longer exists in our world.

Little Helping Hands

Lucy age 11 and her sister Tina age 10 created these wonderful labels for CUDDLE Wellness Kits. We place a label on each kit  to signify the age and gender of the contents inside. Labeling helps the agents know whom to give the kits to without having to open each one. The kids who receive the Kits love the labels because they are obviously made by a child  The imagination that goes into the stickers with the design and color scheme gains the attention of the child receiving the Wellness Kit. The girls and their other 3 siblings have been making the labels for two years. We so appreciate each of them, their talents and impagination.

Volunteers for Christmas Quilts

Eagle Pathway and Backpacks for Kids have asked CUDDLE Outreach to make 400 CUDDLE Wellness Kits for Christmas this year. Last year we made 200 for Eagle Pathway for kids ranging year 1 to 18.  A mother and daughter were helping at the Christmas event, they told Backpacks for Kids an organization they volunteer with, about the CUDDLE Wellness Kits and we were contacted by them in September asking if we would include them this year. They give backpacks and school supplies to 200 teens, they asked if we would make the Kits and hand them out at the event December 7th. We talked to our volunteers and they agreed to the additional 200.

Missionary from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Page Arizona volunteered to help us make 400 CUDDLE Wellness Kits for at risk children in Phoenix. They have tied quilts, cut up fabric to make more quilts and volunteered to help with anything else we might need including prayers.
