200 Kits Delivered

Tim Dodds loads 68 CUDDLE Wellness Kits at the Page HQ to be delivered to the Phoenix Golden Pathways. The remaining 132 wellness kits were delivered by Ellen Wyant three days later from Prescott branch. Job well done!

Throughout the seventeen years of making and delivering the C.U.D.D.L.E. Wellness Kits for thousands of hurting children; we have received request in many quantities.   In October we were approached by the director of Golden Pathway of Phoenix and asked if we could help with their Christmas party for 200 Aged-out kids from the Department of Child Safety and their children. Some we were told were homeless, the majority were coming from group homes and shelters. The Kits range in age from birth to eighteen and they are comprised of a handmade quilt; wascoth bag filled with age appropriate hygiene items; soap, lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, (diapers, baby hygiene items, and onesies; stuffed animal and children’s illustrated Bible all placed into a large handmade bag.  It would take both C.U.D.D.L.E. centers to be able to produce that many kits plus our scheduled 128 kits during the two months; but everyone agreed that this was a good opportunity to help a lot of kids all at once. We agreed to have the full 200 kits to them December 5th.

Some of the many people who joined this effort include the entire staff and student body of Tse Yaato High School, Faith Bible Chapel, Bethany Nazarene Church, people from Page and Prescott communities.  Over 300 people and 2500 hours made this gift possible.

The picture is the Page HQ sending 68 Kits safely to Phoenix and the remaining 132 were delivered by truck and car three days later from Prescott. Job well done!

Colorado Children Volunteers

Colorado Children Volunteers are part of the lifeblood of C.U.D.D.L.E. Outreach, they are instrumental in accomplishing the work of getting 1000 Wellness Kits to hurting children each year. We are grateful for every hour they volunteer. Our volunteers come in different ages and abilities with one common goal of helping other children in need. The Colorado Youth Group contacted us and asked if they could come and help; they said they liked what we did for kids and wanted to be a part of it. The Colorado Youth Group drove 6 hours to get to us, stayed three days working from 9am straight through until 6pm at night for three consecutive days.  The group was able to spend some time at Lake Powell in the evening and camped out at the Wahweap campground. They had a fun time, worked hard and made a huge impact on children they will never meet. We were blessed to the max by each one of then.
